Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients except the fat and cook until all the juice of the meat dries up (approx. 15 - 20 minutes).
  2. Remove the bay leaves, cinnamon stick and take the skin off the cardomons.
  3. Grind the remaining mixture well.
  4. Shape the ground mixture into thick cakes.
  5. Fry these cakes in deep fat until golden brown.
  6. Shammi Kabab is always served with green salad, sliced lemon or chopped onions.
